Hungry but no appetite

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant but wow the nausea is hitting hard! I feel too nauseous to eat, but then I feel nauseous because I haven't eaten! It's a vicious cycle

I never felt like this with my son, I don't think I even was sick once my entire pregnancy.

Any tips on what to eat? The thought of any food right now disgusts me, I've had a few rich tea biscuits this morning but I'm starving yet have zero appetite 🥲

It's so rough! You will feel better for getting something into you as that nausea just gets worse the hungrier you are. Think beige carbs. Toast, dry crackers, dry cereal always worked for me. I went through a weird time where I could only eat things that were crispy. Borderline burnt chips and chicken goujons.. Don't ask, but it worked😂
Sip on fluids as dehydration definitely wont help. Plain water isnt always great for nausea but a lot of women find anything orange flavoured and ice cold good, so maybe orange cordial from the freezer.
Don't suffer in silence though if you really can't get any food down and manage it, GP can prescribe something to help😊

I've found the sickness and nausea so much worse in my second pregnancy than I did the first time.
All you can do is try to stay hydrated with little sips of fluid. Food wise it's trial and error, I would manage a cracker or a few salt and vinegar crisps. Melon was also good.
