Age 45 wondering if pregnant

Possible trigger! Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
So as it says I'm 45 not ttc or preventing, have a 9 month old. Haven't had a period in a couple of months, say 2 or 3
Did several pregnancy tests all positive, clearblue digital Says 3+ which would mean at least 5 weeks.
Hubby has now said "what if its the peirmenopause and you're not actually pregnant"
No symptoms of peri that I know of and I have no one in my life I can talk to about this, my mum won't talk about the menopause or anything and was dead against me having my now 9 month old.
If I was to be pregnant I would be keeping it but I'm wondering if I am actually pregnant now or id it's a false positive. I have had several miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies so I will need to get a check up was going to go to the EPAC but now I'm worried I'll look like an idiot if I go and there's nothing there and I'm just peri, I'm so worried does anyone have any experience in this sort of thing. Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You’re not using contraception, you’ve missed two periods and you’ve taken multiple positive pregnancy tests. What do you think that means?

Christmasgiraffe · 04/01/2025 17:20

You've had positive pregnancy tests and you've missed two periods. You must be at least 8+ weeks along now! I'd get a move on with a midwife referral!

sel2223 · 04/01/2025 17:46

I've never read of a link between peri and hcg that would make tests show up as positive?
It sounds like you're pregnant to me

I wonder if your DH is less sanguine about another baby than you, and is clutching at straws?

Nc54684 · 04/01/2025 19:19

you’re clearly pregnant OP! Next you’re going to google it and see there’s a slim possibility that ovarian cancer can provide a false positive test result and decide it’s that instead

This AND you have a 9 month old so are clearly fertile. Congratulations OP!

Congratulation op no offence but your 45 you have a 9 month old and pregnant again are you mad.

You're pregnant. I'd be making an appointment with your GP or contacting your midwife.

Caaarrrl · 04/01/2025 20:04

Menopause doesn't cause false positives on pregnancy tests. You're pregnant and need to make an appointment. Congratulations!
