Mine is chewing on bath sponges

I don't eat them, I just fill them up with cold water and chew them 😂

(Yes, I do have iron deficiency anemia before anyone comments😂)

Oh I had HG with dc1 too, all the way till the end! Other than my sponge craving the only things I could manage was really bland stuff, or weirdly chocolate milkshake 😂

When I was pregnant, I craved Dr Pepper, but it had to be drank in a very specific way- I'd pour some in a plastic cup, put it in the freezer for long enough so that just the outer layer of the liquid would freeze, then take it out, make a little hole in the top of the frozen drink, then drink the liquid and then crunch the outer layer- weird I know!

I also craved celery, to the point where I'd eat it in the car after doing a food shop!

DS was born in 1991 and I'm an old lady of 65 now, but this thread is bringing it all back. Campbell's tomato soup, Scottish oatcakes, soy sauce on egg friend rice by the bucket and the smell of coal tar for me. It was a hot summer and I remember the tar on the road melting outside our house. I dug its of up on a stick to sniff and breath in.

My mums when pregnant with me was pork pies and mars bars - neither of which I can stand now.

When pregnant with DS16 it was cherry bakewell cakes, the big ones in tin foil, but never the cherry from the top.

With DD5 it was carbs! Chips and gravy was a favourite, and the mini weetabix with banana bits in.

Swimming pool smell was my main craving throughout pregnancy.

The vinegar/pickling juice from gherkins, not the pickles themselves. I could drink jars and jars of the stuff, super cold

With my first it was hotdogs but only the ones that you get at the fair lol with my second it was grapes dipped in mayonnaise and Brussel sprouts with those cheap orange cheese slices draped over them and melted under the grill

Tippex 😣obviously didn’t sniff or eat it but if I got a whiff (big in the office at the time) my mouth would water

Not that weird but when pregnant with my twins I was obsessed with Salmon and cucumber sandwiches. They had to be the ones from M&S too! I had hyperemesis and couldn't keep anything else down.

4 pregnancies - Orange Maid ice lollies, roll mop herrings, Campbells condensed mushroom soup cold out of the tin with a spoon, garlic bread with extra extra extra garlic, party ring biscuits and on one occasion so many jelly babies that my urine sample had so much sugar that my GP wanted me to go to hospital as an emergency. I had to come clean for that one 😂

I drank evaporated milk straight from the tin!

I took the kids swimming about 2 weeks ago and it was great, just loved being around the smell of the pool 😂

I can get on board with all of that except the cold mushroom soup 🤢 I love soup, and I love mushrooms, but my soup has to be hotter than the sun or I won't eat it 😂

Not strange here but l craved hard green apples; the harder the better. It was an effort to get that awful taste out of my mouth.
My neighbour ate pencil lead!! Her dh had to search the house each day to make sure she had none hidden. Actually got quite serious.
