Different pregnancy symptoms to other pregnancy help

Hi,
I found out I was expected a couple of weeks ago. I had an early scan on Wednesday to make sure all was in the correct place (which it is). We couldn’t see a heartbeat but I was only measuring just over 5 weeks (and the dates are exact). Sonographer wasn’t concerned and said I can arrange another scan in a couple of weeks.

I have symptoms such as sore breasts, veiny chest, waves of nausea that disappear as soon as I eat, cramps, white milky discharge and tiredness but it is so different from my last pregnancies where I have been so sick I couldn’t even get out of bed.

Has anyone experienced sickness in one pregnancy and not the other and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I have had a MMC before but had zero symptoms with that one. My other pregnancies I can’t remember when the sickness started but it gave me a little bit of reassurance. It’s weird that I’m hoping for morning sickness because I was so poorly before I hated it.

I know I’m still early, and should be approx 6 weeks tomorrow.

When I was pregnant with my DD I hardly had any sickness. This time round I was being sick 5-10 times a day until I got on anti-sickness meds and even then I was still really nauseous and occasionally vomiting until 14/15 weeks.

I just found out this pregnancy is a boy, so I'm putting the difference down to that!

Yes, DD1 i was sick as a dog until 24w and then again from 32w. 3x per day every day like clockwork. At least I got to be able to work my routine around it 🫠 DD2 I was sick maybe 10times in the whole pregnancy? I was convinced she was going to be a boy as a result but I had two girls. Just totally different pregnancies.

Thanks for responding! It’s so scary isn’t it? I hate this early bit of pregnancy when I can’t tell everything is ok. My anxiety is through the roof.

2 pregnancies - both girls - both completely different in pretty much every way!

DD1 is now 4 and I'm 24 weeks with DD2

I'm in a similar place - 1 2yo and 1MMC. Now about 5.5weeks pregnant and very few symptoms. I can't really remember what the early symptoms were like with my DS and it's so hard to compare because I still had symptoms throughout the pregnancy that ended in MMC, but I keep trying to second guess myself and imagine that I would be so less anxious if I had more symptoms.

I'm not sure that's really true though - I'm sure I'd be just as stressed about something else! But it's so hard being pregnant after a loss - fingers crossed for sticky beans for both of us!

With DS my sickness started at 7 weeks and ended at 14 weeks. This time it started from 4 weeks and finished at 8.5 weeks. I’m currently 20weeks pregnant. This pregnancy I have also had headaches between 5-6weeks of pregnancy and also sensitive boobs from before the positive test (I had neither with DS).

Also my very first pregnancy was a mmc and I had the same symptoms for that and DS with the only difference being with DS sickness started at 7 weeks but with mmc I only had nausea.
