I'm 31 years old. Been using pull out for a good year with bf and had no risks.
For context, I'm an emetophobe ; BC didn't work out well for me due to this so we used condoms alot of the time.

Last few times we didn't. Bf pulls out 4-5 min before finishing..my period always comes.

I ovulated early this month and believe we did it at a very risky time and I didn't think much of it until a week later I started to feel sick and bloated. It's common for me to have this with PMS but not this bad.. I'm also having periods a little more irregular since hitting 30s so maybe peri.

I'm due on in about 4 days and I'm having very unusual "ovulation" type cramps. This never ever happens before my period. They stab every few mins. This coupled with the extreme pms symptoms have my mind convinced we've took a big risk.

Would I be safe to test this early?
I do want a baby in a couple years but right now wouldn't be ideal.

I'm aware at 31 I should know better but we've always been OK. It's just these unusual symptoms which is making me dread the utter heart attack in a few days

You can take early detection tests but not sure how accurate they are really. If you can’t wait I don’t see any harm in using one of these tests, but if it’s negative I’d test again when you’re due on just to be sure

Take a test

Get a FRER and test now! We also took a risk this month and I got a positive on Monday, if it helps you feel better

Can I ask, did you also use pull out?

An update. Did early detection, very clear negative. I feel more relaxed but not due on until weekend
