100% yes, made making bottles out and about so easy and quick. I did carry a flask of boiling water with me also.

Lots of people recommended this to us, so we had this for our daughter. I think we only used it a handful of times as we found it much easier to buy ready made milk, then source hot water when out and about to warm the milk up with.

Ready made milk is obviously much easier. But this is a very good second best option.

Don't cool the formula in it though. Otherwise you need to sterilise it each time. Fine if only using once but if out for the day it's a nightmare. Instead mix the formula in the bottle with a shot of boiling water and then cool the remaining boiling water in the nuby and tip it in.

The nuby will take a few hours to cool down and be ready to use again but you won't have to wash and sterilise it between times

Ok so put the formula in the bottle with a bit of hot water then cool the water in the rapid and pour the rest into bottle

Did you find the ready milks more expensive

@Colourfulltrees yes it'll work out dearer to buy ready made milk rather than making from a powder, but for the ease we found it to be a better option for us.

I liked ours, we bought the UV steriliser so we could put the formula on the rapid cool with no messing about.

Expectinglittlebean2024 · 26/11/2024 16:48

We think so! We have 3 so that we don't have to constantly wash :) I love them

Please don't do this. The powder isn't sterile and can contain bacteria that can make babies very poorly. It needs to be dissolved in the full volume of water to sterilise the powder. It can also lead to partially dissolved powder than can lead to uncomfortable stomachs and colic symptoms.

@TwinkleDee interesting! My cousin has used this method with the Nuby rapid for both of her babies and they've both been completely fine

anonny55 · 26/11/2024 17:03

I've got one for my baby that I'm pregnant with as it's the top thing my family and friends who have babies recommended to us..also said they use the method the above person mentioned where you hot shot and powder in the bottle then remaining water in the nuby rapid to cool it to correct temperature then put that in the bottle and swirl..they've all said it's very useful for night feeds and when your out. I chose that over a prep machine as heard that prep machines are a nightmare to clean and get very dirty very quick!
