In July I had an early loss after 10 months of TTC. I think I've had a chemical in between now and then as I had a few positive tests but very faint so was never certain and period arrived on time.
I found out I was pregnant just over a week ago with a vvvvvvvfaint line. I got my 1-2 on a digital on Thursday and still at 1-2 today.
I called my GP and asked for a blood test just for peace of mind as so far everything had been OK but to try and relax and enjoy the moment a little. The lines on tests aren't dark but they're undeniable and darker than with the chemical.
This evening I went for a wee and there was blood on the paper and in the toilet, nothing in underwear, I have also developed a bit of cramping that isn't ignorable but not unbearable.
I know there isn't much I can do but wait, try and relax and see what happens, I've already had the blood test which will help but just needed somewhere to share as only my other half knows so far.

Blood test on the Monday 25th was only 34, I then had brown blood through to Friday 29th with an hcg of only 43. The GP called me and asked if I had started bleeding and when I told her 'on and off' her exact words were 'OK, great, any problems let us know' - great seemed a bit... but anyway.

Friday evening all bleeding had stopped and then following a blood test at EPU
5/12 - 273
10/12 - 1053
12/12 - 1660 (or similar)
I had a scan yesterday but she was unable to find any evidence of anything being there except a thickened lining. I have a tilted uterus which gets brought up at every smear test and every scan I had with my son so she said it was difficult to see from the tilt as well.

I'm trying to remain disconnected from this and protect myself but I also don't wait well and that is all I can do right now. My stomach is on a constant spin cycle. My partner is being amazing and keeps telling me we just need to wait and that it's not game over yet, I just catastrophise (is that a word?) eeeeverything and I'm keeping myself busy to stop thinking, I just need somewhere to share.

Hey OP, did they say if your cervix was closed? How far along are you now?

I'm sorry for the 'great' the GP used, that's thoughtless at best. This 'limbo' period is awful, your partner is right that it's not game over yet but you are also right to prepare yourself for the worst. I had a MC in June and kept telling myself I was preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

You're not alone, wishing you all the best and keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx
