I am in my first trimester and have a constant pain in my right bum cheek, has anyone else experienced this?

Sciatica?
Yes, later in in my pregnancy and luckily only for a week or so.

Yes it’s your pelvis/ spine has knocked out of whack and is hitting or compressing a nerve.

You need to stop lounging on the sofa, don’t have feet up or knees above pelvis. So say for example the tilt on the car seat where the pelvis slouches back. Your knees are quite high here. Or doing vigorous work either which will tire your ligaments.

That’s basically every position bar gentle walking or standing so I get that’s not easy to avoid. And when you stand you need to engage your pelvis periodically as will be slipping to an anterior tilt and destabilising further.

These things can come and go but if it’s not going or getting worse speak to the midwife about physio referral.

There are also videos on YouTube about pelvic resets but if your not sure which way it’s tilting then you might be doing the opposite excercise so that might not be helpful.
