Underwired bras while breastfeeding

Bought a breast feeding bra from a maternity wear shop a few months ago and the sales assistant said that after a while it was fine to go back to normal underwired bras. I would love to do this as I wore the bra the other day to see how it felt (still pregnant, not bfing) and hated it. Missed my proper bras. Can't remember how long she said I would have to wait before that though, does anyone know? Thank you!

I only bought one nursing bra before I had DS and it was sized S/M rather than normal sizing. It was a bit like a sports bra - racing back and thick band of elastic underneath. It was super comfy and accommodated the exploding breasts thing in the early days. I think I got it from the NCT website and it was by Emily Jane or something, can't remember.

I did find the NCT mail order people really helpful - I ended up buying several bras in different sizes and returning the ones that didn't fit. I'm sure they did next day delivery. They weren't too hideous.
