Hi ladies 🩷

I miscarried at 7w last month (2nd pregnancy, have a happy healthy 4yo). I started bleeding (on a Wed) and went for a scan, they said I had a hemotoma outside of the sac but scan was healthy with heartbeat. Two days later I miscarried, which was confirmed on the Sunday. Really awful time! Feels sad and raw that we saw a heartbeat and had planned for a Christmas announcement to family.

Anyway, at the scan confirming miscarriage, the midwife made a fleeting comment about women being "back within a few months" 🙃 and I thought "oh God I can't imagine that right now, that wont be me" but here I am having had sex the day of my LH peak this month (24-48 hours before ovulation so have had sex on the days running up to ovulation). First period after miscarriage is estimated for next week but I'm feeling a lot of pregnancy symptoms again. Has anyone on here ever gotten pregnant the cycle after a loss before period? I'm feeling quite anxious about it and counting down the days to a test (currently 7dpo I think) x

Yes, in April this year I miscarried at 7 weeks. On 1st May I got a BFP and was pregnant again without a period (lost that one too but ready many stories of women who had a successful pregnancy after a miscarriage without a period)

Good luck to you 🤞🏼

Oh thank you! I'm sorry to hear of your losses 🩷 One after the other couldn't have been easy

Sprry for your loss, i know its a hard time. I miscarried at 8 and half weeks, and then was pregnant the next cycle (can't exactly remember if it was before or after period) but that second pregnancy is a healthy 8 year old. Good luck

Im pregnant and didn’t have a period after my MMC, I’m only approaching 7 weeks and hoping for the best. I’ve seen many positive threads on this on mumsnet, hoping it can never be too soon for a rainbow x

I am so sorry for your loss.

I had one very short cycle after my miscarriage but conceived on my first proper cycle after this- I think cycles can take one or two to reestablish themselves.

Very anxious but healing pregnancy and have a beautiful little boy now and pregnant with my second.

Hoping better days are coming for you soon.

Yes, DD16 was conceived December after miscarriage in the November
My obstetrician told mr not so bother waiting TTC after miscarriage, she was a miscarriage expert and said people often say that so they get an accurate due date of a pregnancy that is viable , but she felt a miscarriage can help TTC as your body is primed and ready to go - just her own working theory
Good luck

Wow so similar! AF arrived me for today, I was 5 days late 🥲 Must have just been a strange first cycle, but it was hard seeing negative tests and it's not pleasant bleeding again. Maybe have a wee Christmas surprise 🤞🏼
