Just been given induction date for TOMORROW

Hi,

Having a mini meltdown and last minute panic lol. I was at maternity assessment unit tonight for reduced movements. They offered induction for tomorrow and in a panic I accepted. Was also given a sweep I'm 2cm. I wasn't really given time to process induction offer but I'm 39+4 anyway so I think I'll be ok.

I never got induced with my son so I'm just looking for some advice and positive induction stories while I repack bags and freak out🤣

Hi ladies thought I would update people! I went for my induction yesterday morning they done a ctg ect then put in the balloon at 11:30am. By 12 I was having strong regular contractions every 5 mins but midwife fobbed me off for THREE HOURS because balloon didn't "fall out". Then I asked another midwife. Well this midwife told me that the balloon can drop out of cervix and actually get stuck..

I had my little girl Olive Emilee at 1:09, no intervention needed just so he knew.

My balloon induction was super fast I was 2cm dilated when it was put in and then I went for a walk and within the hour my waters had broken the balloon was taken out and i went down to the labour ward and ds was born an hour later.
