How to not get fixated on TTC after loss?

So I had my first natural miscarriage almost 3 weeks ago which was also my first pregnancy. I stopped bleeding and tested negative just over a week ago and we have been ttc this week as I experienced signs of ovulation shortly after the bleeding stopped.

I’m probably only 2 or 3 days post-ovulation right now but I’m so very keen to see a positive test again, it’s all I’m thinking about at the moment.

My question is how do I just chill out about the whole thing? I know that if I do, the time will pass quicker because at the moment it’s dragging. Does anyone have any tips or advice on the best way to take your mind off it all? 🙏🏻

thanks in advance

keep Busy, make plans! And don’t test too early. I never got positives til 14 dpo. And whilst it happens again quick for some, it’s also common to take a while. It took us longer to conceive after a MC, so do be prepared for that.

I drove myself crazy TTC after a miscarriage. I tried to keep busy and focus on other things while waiting. I also deleted apps like Mumsnet and peanut so I could stop researching things and seeing other people’s stories. It helped a lot!

I was really obsessed and it was affecting our relationship. Then the month we conceived was the one I let go of control and let it happen. I know it doesn't always happen that way but has worked twice for me
