Water breaking 15 weeks

Hi! I am currently 15 weeks pregnant. I was wondering if anyone has ever had their waters break this early and, if so, what did it feel like?

I had a strange popping sensation earlier today when walking followed by a something coming down, down below feeling. I then had a few episodes where I felt like I was dribbling pee but not much at all. Stomach also felt hard.

Did it feel anything like this? A little worried.

@Itonlytakesone ive been thinking about her today. I’m a similar stage in my pregnancy and totally understand the worry. Hoping it’s positive news for her 🤞

Sorry for the delay in updating.

Thankfully the scan went well. Baby seemed to be doing well. There was some initial worry about possibly being a low level of fluid around baby but after being checked by 3 people they decided there was plenty of fluid left but baby was just low down to one side with the rest of fluid being above and behind them.
They said they can't be sure exactly what I felt or what the water was that I was experiencing and couldn't test the fluid as it had stopped by the time of the appointment.

Just have to monitor for any more leaking as they say there is not a lot they could do even if it was my waters leaking.

Just have to keep my fingers crossed that things continue to go well and that everything still fine by my cervical length scan / 20week scan.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone and their well wishes! <3

Glad everything looks good!

Just to suggest you might want to wear a pad for the next few days, if you get any more fluid gushes or leaks then the pad will catch and the maternity unit can test to see if it’s amniotic fluid

When mine went at 28 weeks it was a warm gush of fluid like when you gush on your period (I had bleeding as well though so it may feel different without the bleeding I guess). I was really wet inside when examined at the hospital. After the initial gush I never had that much again but it leaked slowly for a few days. The leaking was quite unmistakably water as it had a distinctive smell. I was really lucky and I resealed.

If it is your waters you should be careful of infection risk. I've read of some people putting their progesterone pessarys up their bum instead of their vagina for that reason, personally since mine went I haven't swum, had sex or had a bath. The FB group "Preterm premature rupture of membranes (Pprom) support group" is a fantastic source of information and support.

I'm doing okay thank you!
There has been no more episodes of obvious fluid leakage so keeping my fingers crossed. 16 week appointment went well and heard heartbeat on Doppler.
