Hi all!

Looking for a bit of TLC after feeling completely hopeless and fed up.

I'm 5+5 weeks today and found out I was pregnant just under 2 weeks ago.

Since 2 days after my first positive, I had brown spotting for 4/5 days, then it completely disappeared. Then three days ago had some pink, then went.

Now today I've had light red, fresh since 8am to now (4pm) every time I wipe, never on the pad.

I have an EPU scan on Friday but honestly I barely feel like there's any point ☹️

I'm so sorry you are going through this.
Plenty of people have bleeding and all turns out ok, but in my experience this wasn't the case and bleeding did lead to miscarriage.
Just based on the title of your thread, has this happened to you before?
I had 5 losses between my babies and wanted to share some advice if that were appropriate and you were finding yourself in a similar situation.

I understand your nerves and I appreciate it's scary but I think there are positives. It's still at spotting there's definitely hope. I had a miscarriage in August starting with spotting within 24h was heavy bleeding. I read that only 1 in 3 pregnancies with bleeding end in miscarriage. I know that's still a lot of women but there is hope. Keep yourself occupied, keep an eye on the bleeding. I presented at a and E before my epu and they were able to check my HCG and haemoglobin levels due to blood loss.
Hang in there

Thank you I really appreciate it @Chasingbaby2 !

I’ve had two losses and three births so far, I seem to switch each time which I think is adding to the nerves!!

and I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through already. It’s so tough!

Thank you lovely @Superscientist 🤍

Early pregnancy is such a whirlwind isn’t it.

Trying to remain busy but it’s hard when you question it constantly isn’t it!

@Anonymous130197 it really is.

I find I have to keep my hands busy to keep my brain quiet. I find myself doing a lot of colouring in these situations or puzzles or silly games on my phone and stay away from Google. You can find a 1000 women to back up your fears but every pregnancy is different and every person is different.
Friday must feel like a life time away right now. Try not to focus on managing until then get through today and if that feels too much get through this hour. If anything changes have a low bar for reaching out for help and advice.
