Magnesium spray

It’s the worst! I found that magnesium flakes in the bath helped a bit. You can buy them at Home Bargains.

Check your iron, both times mine improved once I'd started my iron tablets

I had this. Exercise during the day helps. And orgasms 🙈 seriously

Came to say his. Have had it horrifically since second pregnancy - it didn't go away after birth.
Recently found out I have fibroids and low iron due to flooding periods. The restless legs went after only a week or iron supplements.

Magnesium Glycinate tablets(twice a day if necessary, one definitely before bed)
Exercise exercise exercise!

I don't know if you take paracetamol these days when pregnant but one tablet stops it. Or try magnesium cream as mentioned. It's a nightmare though!

I agree with getting iron checked too. And bouncing on my exercise ball in the evenings was the only thing I could do to relieve it. Fortunately I didn’t struggle going to sleep at night but it was trying to relax in the evenings that it was really bad. I had it with all 3 of my pregnancies but thankfully it always resolved as soon as the babies were born.

Magnesium sprays and creams made me super super itchy which I think can be a sign of a deficiency. I found exercising, even lightly like rocking on a pregnancy ball helped me and, as someone else stated above, orgasm lol. I'd be tempted to try a supplement this time around though I'm just not sure what so I'll ask my midwife when I next see her. I had iron tablets last time and still struggled massively with RLS so that didn't work for me.
