TW Termination of Pregnancy. Advice please

I found out today I'm 5 weeks pregnant and am totally devastated based on my circumstances.
I've paid £500 for a private appointment tomorrow to terminate :( please don't judge. I feel terrible about the entire situation.
Can anyone who has done a medical termination give some indication on how you felt at the different stages? I have 2 massively important weeks coming up at work. I should be able to take the first tablet on Thursday night but will I be fine to present at work on the Friday? My plan is to then take part 2 Friday evening as then I'll have the weekend to go through it.
I have no plans next weekend. But as of the Monday work will be crazy. This is stuff I've been working on for the best part of a year. I'm in a lose lose situation as if I stay pregnant I'm suffering terribly with the regular symptoms of sore boobs, back ache, terrible nausea, dry heaving if I'm smell food etc. I just need this over :(

Oh OP, how come you've made a private appointment? You're entitled to free care!

I had a termination a few years ago now, I don't regret it for a single second. I'm now 36 weeks pregnant and still don't regret my earlier termination.

From my experience, I was absolutely fine after taking the first tablet and went to work the following day as normal (I went back the same day) I also took the second tablet on a Friday, I drove myself home and had period like pains and bleeding that evening and then I was absolutely fine. I may have had smaller amounts of bleeding the following day/days but I can't remember too much. I honestly found it fine though.

Good luck and I'm sorry you're going through this x

Thank you so much. That fills me with a bit more confidence that I may be able to get through this and not impact my job too much.
I've gone private because very frustratingly the NHS provider who covers my area can't get me an appointment till Weds and they said I won't receive the meds till the following Monday to Weds. I won't be able to take the medication during the week due to what's happening at work and I don't want to push it to the following weekend as I'll be over 7 weeks by then and I'm struggling massively with what's happening to my body now.
I'm just so devastated.
Huge congratulations on your pregnancy! That's lovely news and I'm so glad that you don't regret your earlier termination, that's really reassuring.
I have 2 DC already who will be 9 and 7 by the time baby is due. Circumstances just don't feel right, our lives have moved on so much that I can't bear the thought of going back to baby stage now. I'm so consumed by guilt though and what ifs.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience it honestly means a lot

That's a shame that it was such a wait for the NHS! I totally understand that you don't want to wait any longer than you have to.

Honestly, there is no harm in having a termination if its the right decision for you and your family! X

No advice but thinking of you, it sounds horrible and awful timing with work. Hope it goes smoothly OP.

I had a termination last Friday. First 48 hours I didn't bleed just some light spotting when I wiped and then it felt like a heavy period and I have bled for 7 days now and it's now getting lighter.

Such a shame you had to wait to long, I got mine straight away.
