Had my first at 27 and second at 31. Oldest is now 16 and getting ready to fly the nest (told me several times they want to go to uni somewhere else - can’t disagree as it’s their life experience)
Younger DC (12) really struggles and I wonder if they’ll ever leave home. We adore them and they can stay for as long as they want as they have a bedroom here for as long as they need and want. They also have the same at their dads who adores them.
DC1 would be 17 and away and DC 2 would love a baby sibling. I fell pregnant first time with my two kids and 4th month at 40 but sadly had a miscarriage. This is last chance saloon I guess as I’ve prevented any further pregnancies.
I’m 43 now but given I feel pregnant after the first try with both my kids and at 40 after 4 months, I’m hoping we’ll be lucky this time.
