Pregnancy after ectopic & unilateral salpingectomy - pain

I’m wondering if anyone has had this experience after a unilateral salpingectomy-

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again after my ectopic in april (approx 4 wks). I had to have my right tube removed as a result. Just today I’ve had a dull ache in the side where I no longer have a tube and wondering if this would be normal?

any advice appreciated ☺️

Hi - I don’t have any answers, but I am in a similar position. I also just found out I am pregnant (4+5), after having two ectopics and the last one resulting in loosing my left tube. I have had some left sided cramps, but also some right sided. Have you contacted your EPU? Due to my previous ectopics I am going for an early scan but need to wait till about 6 weeks so getting bloods in the meantime. It’s so nerve wracking isn’t it, after having a bad experience?! I have also had some spotting which happened with my last ectopics. Wishing you the best for this pregnancy ✨

Hi ! Congrats 💖 no I’ve not contacted my EPU yet but I plan to do this tomorrow as I don’t think they would scan me before 6 weeks anyway. I’m hoping they might be able to tell me if it’s kind of normal or not but hoping for the best 🤞🏻
