Am I pregnant

I've been trying to concive for almost 6 years now. Haven't felt right, so I decided to take a pregnancy test. Got a very faintvline, but it's just an indent line, or it's faint positive. I'm 10 dpo. My periods are quite irregular.

Go on amazon and get the first response rapid results I think it’s called. It has pink dye which is more reliable. I’ve had so many evaporated lines with clear blue it’s heartbreaking. Tried for 5 years so I understand ❤️
I had better results in the evening too weirdly. There’s also an app called checker where you can check your tests, it can get addictive though.
it’s hard to know if it’s a true positive because of the blue dye. When did you read the result, within 5 mins? I see a vvvvfaint shadow but can’t say for certain xx

The faint line came up within 1 minute, and when I changed the light and shadow on the image, the line could be seen better.

Probably not. Try a pink dye test to be sure.

Yes you are. Doesnt matter how feint. The fact that there is a line indicates that you are. Congratulations!

I also recommend a pink dye test, but not a ‘rapid results’ as, in order to provide the results rapidly, it has a low sensitivity threshold. If you are only 10dpo then very likely HCG levels won’t be high enough to generate a line on a rapid results test.

The most reliable pink test at the moment is the Easy at Home ones, they’re cheap too and also available on Amazon.

First Response Early Results have been withdrawn from high street sale due to producing false positives as second line were visible out of the pack. They’re still available online but I’d stick with the Easy at Home ones.

For what it’s worth, the line you’ve got is full width; most blue dye evaps are very thin. So… it may be looking cautiously hopeful! 🤞🏻

i disagree. I’ve never had a false postive in the 5 years I’ve been trying to get pregnant with the first response ones. The east at homes ones are good and cheap, but not as sensitive. The first response early results tests can detect hcg as little as 6mlu rather than 10mlu. They are still available on Amazon to buy and I have been in communication with hundreds of women ttc over the 5 years and we all agree they are the best ones.

@Liene999 i can see the second picture looks alot darker. I have everything crossed for a stronger result soon. But it’s looking good to me, especially as you read it within 1 min ❤️❤️

Your anecdata is great, and I’m pleased you’ve had a good experience with them. And yet… still they have been withdrawn from high street sale in the USA and Europe due to showing second ‘lines’ that weren’t lines.

Just done clear blue digital ultra early test and got BFP. Thank you ever so much for your advice.
