Could it be my waters?

Went to MAU last night for reduced movement and everything was okay and I returned home. However when I got back I noticed a wet patch on my pants and it wasn't urine ( smell test) smelt of nothing and was a fist size patch. Through the night I've noticed tiny little leaks here and there but nothing major but I've had constant back pain since last night. Could this be my waters?

It could be but it could also be an increase in discharge.
I had that and went to get checked out .
They can take a swab to check

I've thought discharge too but seems very very watery 🤷🏻‍♀️ & I'm 37 weeks

This happened to me with my first baby. Little leaks to start with for a few days at 38 weeks. I thought to my horror that I had developed incontinence. Then I woke up in bed lying in wet sheets. I still wasn't sure what was happening but I rang my hospital and they said to come in.

It turned out my waters hadn't gone in the big rush you see in films, but were gradually leaking. They said I would probably go into labour spontaneously. I didn't, so 24 hours later I agreed to be induced as there was a risk of infection as the baby was no longer in a hermetically sealed environment. (She was born a healthy 9lbs 1oz and is now expecting her own first baby.)

Oh wow thank you, I've had my waters go before labour so I'm gaslighting myself into thinking it can't be.

Could it be sweaty? When is was pregnant I had a panic one day that my waters had gone. I had been sat on a p-leather chair in a skirt. I changed my knickers put on some trousers and no further wetness so I'm pretty confident that I just got a bit hot and sweaty. I made sure to have a layer over clothing between me and the chair after that!

How does your bump feel? The day my waters went I had a brief sharp pain which went when I sat down and rested. I had been moving office furniture (I know unwise at 38 weeks pregnant). After that my bump which had been very taut went quite squashy. This was mid afternoon and my waters went movie style at midnight. I suspect they had ruptured in the afternoon and it was only later when lying in bed that the water went

I went into triage at 40 weeks for them to check if my waters had gone as I had been feeling slightly damp with no smell etc. they swabbed checked and it was negative...I went home and within 3 hours I was back at the hospital pushing baby out!

It could be! But I wasn't hot or sweating at the time and haven't really been since. I went to the toilet early hours this morning and when I stood up more of what I'm assuming was wee came out then a few seconds later a few more big drips happened but didn't feel like I had leaked wee 🤷🏻‍♀️ my bump is having tightenings too with constant back ache 🙈

I'd pop a pad in* *and give maternity triage a call. There's tests they can do to test for amniotic fluid. This is what I was told when I went in when my waters went. They didn't bother as the puddle on the chair was pretty obvious.
