Mini pill and trying to get pregnant?

Hi there, I came off the mini pill around 6 weeks ago and my pattern and I have been trying to get pregnant. I've not have a period since coming off the pill but doctor said it's fine to try from straight away. How do I know when to take a pregnancy test?
Thanks!

Did you notice any signs in the last few weeks such as cervical mucus, anything to indicate you might have ovulated?

If not, take a test now to rule pregnancy out. I think it varies on the person as to how quickly the period returns to a typical pattern. I think my period returned after 35 days. Again, everyone can be different on the length.

I think it’s just a waiting game I guess for your period or a positive test. If you had have asked at the start I would have suggested lh tests or bbt but they are for before&around ovulation to confirm it.

You could have ovulated 2 weeks after coming off it so in theory could have had a period or a positive pregnancy test 4 weeks after. Everyone is different of course.
You should probably take a pregnancy test now and then take one every week unless you get a period.

I came off the pill and got pregnant straight away. I remember having brown discharge few days after stopping, but that was all. 💐✨️

Following.

I stopped the mini pill (Desogestrel) 2 weeks ago, had a bit of bleeding/heavy spotting for a few days and nada since!

Had a bit of lotion like CM yesterday but LH isn't peaking so!

Good luck ✨✨

Just don't drive yourself mad taking lots of tests. Take one now in case you ovulated before getting your periods back but then leave it for a while until you start getting symptoms etc. It can take up to12 months to get pregnant and you need to continue living your life etc otherwise you will be miserable very quickly.

I got my period 4 weeks after stopping the first time and 5 weeks the second time. It took 3 cycles to conceive the first time and 1 the second.
The second ended in miscarriage and I'm waiting for my period to fully TTC and in the meantime will go with our moods.
You could take a test once a week or before times when you would want to know for sure if you are pregnant. I tested with my daughter on my birthday to know if I could have a drink and a couple of days before I needed to be in the lab the second time. My pregnancy sickness started 7-10 days after testing positive both times and started losing weight from conception both times so you could look out of markers of pregnancy to test

I've had some cervical mucus and I've had very tender breasts and have been feeling nauseous but my pregnancy tests say negative so wondering if it's a side effect from coming off the pill? It's all very confusing haha!
