11 weeks scan photos gender

Hi all,

I am 11 weeks and 2 days after two miscarriages. I was just wondering can anyone determine the gender of my baby from the scan photos. I know it’s very early and probably can’t tell but this is purely for fun. Those that are struggling I pray that you all one day receive good news I have been there and know how it feels.

At this stage the only way of knowing the gender is doing the NIPT test. Congratulations!

The sex can only be seen by a sonographer from 16 weeks. I know how it feels to have a pregnancy after MC, and the sex was so unimportant to me. In fact, I was reluctant to know, as I couldn't believe it was going to work out.

11 weeks is too early to be able to use nub theory unfortunately, however if you have another scan after 12 weeks you may get more of an indication from there.

Some private clinics can tell you the sex from 14 or 15 weeks (I found out at 14 weeks both times), although a lot still do from 16 weeks.
