I have had sickness and vomiting for past 48 hours, can’t seem to keep anything down 😵‍💫 I’ve had subtle nausea through first trimester but nothing like this. Will baby be ok?

. I had this. Keep drink water. Call 111 if anxious. I had a high risk pg (me old, multiple losses, pg with DT) so they brought me in for obvs for a short while and I puked for a while at the hospital. Fluids is the main thing; check in with midwife / medical professional. It’s really unpleasant but try to keep drinking and yes, let your midwife know (in case they might worry for other reasons).

please call 111 for advice now before your GP opens. You may need to take an electrolyte replacement like diroalyte as well as plain water and avoid getting badly dehydrated. If you haven’t kept anything down for 48hrs you may be needed an anti emetic because you’re pregnant. But getting on to 48hrs is time for medical advice asap. In the meantime can someone get you some lemonade flavoured ice lollies to try and get a more liquid and a tiny bit of sugar into you?
