Twin pregnancy - does this pain sound concerning

Hello
I’m 13 twins 2 days with twins
ive arrived to work at 8am and since then ive been in such bad pain in my stomach and back
it is sharp pain all across my stomach above belly button and middle of my back
i know it could probably just be extreme round ligament pain
I work in retail so constantly walking around and that is making it worse. I feel to cry 😭 would you call midwife? I’ve had the pain few times now but today it just worse. I don’t want to keep taking paracetomal

Yes. Call your midwife. They may be able to give you some advice or ask you to be seen by them.

When l was pregnant with twins l had lots of those type of pains. But if it’s new then l also vote contact your midwife

If it's high up above your bellybutton it's more likely to be stomach upset than the pregnancy.
But I still think you should get checked out though, go off sick from work and call the midwife or 111 if you can't contact her

@dbeuowlxb173939 Yes it’s my stomach and going all around my sides and my back, and the back pain is radiating all over. I wouldn’t have eaten any foods to upset my stomach as just mainly
plain simple foods. Of course I’m not pooing often, but would this really cause all this pain that I’m so uncomfortable to even walk! 😞 Just waiting for the next manager to come in so I can pop out to give a call.

Early pregnancy unit said to come in and see a doctor
midwife said to go home and rest to see if it makes it better ……..

Go to the early pregnancy unit, better to be safe than sorry! X

Yes, get yourself to EPU
I'm sure it's fine but I'd want to be fully checked to make sure

so I ended up sitting at EPU for 4 hours. Which is fine, better safe than sorry. But they wasn’t concerned about babies, which I wasn’t either as pain wasnt in uterus. But they checked blood urine swabbed me etc. prescribed stronger pain killer and laxitives which I haven’t taken yet. I got home at 6pm and slept the night through, the pain has been less today but I didn't go to work so wasn’t active at all. I will go back to tomorrow and see how I get on. Feeling really guilty having these absent days!
