Early Signs?

Hey all - just curious 😊 i’m due on a week today, so 7 days. The last few days i’ve noticed im urinating a little more, waking up with headaches, feeling more lethargic than normal and a new one as of today is breast tingling / pain. Currently happening while i type this! If I conceived I would be around 8/9 DPO now.

Has anyone had similar? Curious to know stories.

Thanks - C x

I remember having sore boobs from around 8/9dpo when I conceived. They would always feel better the day before my period arrived (which was my clue it wasn’t our month) but didn’t and I tested positive at 11dpo. Urination isn’t usually a symptom until the second trimester of pregnancy as it’s due to the weight of the uterus on the bladder. Hope you get the result you want!

Too early for symptoms. Don't get yourself worked up, it’s not good for your mental health. At this early stage the only way most people can tell is from having an intuitive feeling, but there is not going to be any symptoms.

It is possible that these are early pregnancy signs, yes. But as you'll know, the difference between an early pregnancy sign and an incoming period sign are very similar and it depends largely on what's normal for you.

Personally, I knew I was pregnant extremely early as I have never had physical period symptoms but had one of everything very soon after we conceived. Breast growth was the main thing for me (went up two cup sizes in a weekend!) but I did also note down "peeing loads?!?" too 🤣 I also had nausea from 3 days after ovulation (and it was consistent all the way through to my second trimester so I know it was baby!)

Best of luck! As a side note, if you're autistic it's very common to have and feel symptom far earlier than is commonly accepted. Something about histamine sensitivity, and general body/change awareness. May not apply to you but interesting all the same 😊

I had no symptoms until around 6 weeks with my first when the sickness started and none at all with my second.

It's unusual to get any symptoms that early but that's not to say it's impossible.

My 'early' symptoms have been pretty much normal PMS symptoms that I would get when due on anyway.

In my first pregnancy I then had very sore boobs just after my period was due but no other symptoms till about 7 weeks. This time round, the boobs were the tell tale sign again a week after I'd missed a period then some other symptoms hit a few days later around 5.5 weeks.

thanks for all your messages and sharing your experiences with me! I keep having waves of sickness and the boob thing is really bothering me (painful and stingy). Only pre-period symptoms i get is lower back ache and cramping. I don’t tend to get anything else. I’m not assuming I’m pregnant of course, theres a possibility sure. But was just curious to see what others were like 😊 xxx
