When did your c section glue come off?

I'm now 4 week's post elective c section, last time I had stitches but this time I've had glue, a sort of long steri strip glued on. It's started to lift off at the ends and the bits of glue on my skin is coming off, but can I just peel it off or shall I leave it? If peel off, just in the shower? I have an irrational fear that my stomach is suddenly going to open up 😂
It's very annoying and can be quite sticky so is sticking to my pants and also pulling the tiny hairs on my stomach which is not fun haha.

This is not medical advice… but you could try rubbing olive oil around the sticky residue bits to get rid of them. I find olive oil is good for lifting things like the sticky stuff that sometimes gets left on when you take a plaster off.

Thank you @Ossoduro2, after I posted I did some googling and many seem to use vaseline so I've rubbed that all over it and hoping it will have a similar effect to olive oil 🤞🏻

Sounds like Dermabond Prineo. Quite impressed it's still on there. Usually the mesh would have started peeling up at the edges by now, but it seems whoever glued it was very thorough! I would also have said to use Vaseline to get it off, so I hope it works.

The vaseline did the trick, peeled off very easy in the shower! Thank you 😃
