Hi all, so I've very recently found out I'm pregnant, predicted to be 5w2d.

With my last two pregnancies, I had noticeable symptoms from the minute I found out, but this time I have absolutely no symptoms at all beside diarrhoea and occasional cramps/backache.

Unsure if it's relevant, but I had my gallbladder removed just over a year ago, so haven't had the best experience in this department anyway...

Is this normal? I feel silly for even asking, but I have this horrible feeling that this pregnancy isn't going to end well and I have no idea why. 😔

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Remember that every pregnancy is different, so try not to compare to your other pregnancies if that's making you anxious. I had mild symptoms with my first pregnancy, but they were definitely there. In my second pregnancy I had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever! I remember feeling really anxious about it so can empathise but try not to read into it. Currently pregnant with dc3 (about a week ahead of you) and I'm suffering with nausea, sore boobs and diarrhoea in the mornings- expected the first 2 but not diarrhoea, but think it is quite common after doing a bit of research.

Hi there, my first symptom around the same gestation was bad diarrhea (I've also had my gallbladder removed).
I'm still not sure if the diarrhoea was pregnancy related or i'd coincidentally picked up a bug as its not really a common pregnancy symptom.
Anyway, within a few days I had nausea and sore boobs which prompted me to test and i was pregnant.

So far this has been nothing like my first pregnancy which is making me anxious, especially as the symptoms keep disappearing then reappearing!

I feel bad for saying the replies have been reassuring 😅 but glad it isn't just me that's suffering with it. To think, I have been a lot more tired than usual, even took a nap this afternoon which isn't like me! But I definitely need to stop trying to symptom spot!

I don't have many people to talk to in person, especially with me being so early and not announcing it to friends yet, so even though my post is a little daft, it's nice to have replies from people who have experienced the same! ☺️

Thank you!

Yeah my bowels were in absolute pieces when I found out I was pregnant! So much diarrhoea for weeks and then it went to constipation. It's settled down now but still dodgy some days. I also had my gall bladder removed over a year ago - Feb 2022 and they are dodgy but I think pregnancy made it worse.
Doesn't mean there's anything wrong xx
