Bloody show or bleeding from membrane sweep?

I had a failed membrane sweep this afternoon, midwife said I was 0cm dilated so wasn’t able to fully perform the sweep. I had some light pink bleeding afterwards which she said was normal. Almost 12 hours later I still have light bleeding which is rather red and jelly like. Could this be a bloody show or just bleeding from the irritation of a membrane sweep?

I can't answer your question for sure as after my membrane sweep I wondered the same. I was totally unsure how to tell the difference between bleeding and pain from the sweep vs labor.
I had mild cramps and bleeding like this for 3 days after the membrane sweep and then I went in to labor. The cramps had actually settled down the day before I went in to labor so I thought it was all just from the sweep and thought id be getting induced. Then i woke up with mild cramps again- half hour after the mild cramps I started to get tightenings and I gave birth 3 hours later- it all moved very quickly not sure if the membrane sweep was the cause of my fast labor but just to give you the heads up just in case!

I’ve had more jelly like mucus come out this morning in little bits but still haven’t had any cramps. Just really hoping this is the start of labour 🤞🏼
