Feeling generally unwell 38 weeks pregnant?

Actually I’m 37 weeks, 6 days so 38 tomorrow with baby number two. I’ve recently moved trusts and haven’t really seen the hospital since the move and definitely haven’t been to their triage. I was high risk but now things have settled. Placenta moved, cervix extended so I’m fine just really really bad pelvic pain.

today I’ve had a headache since 8am more of a migraine. I do struggle to sleep and have had headaches in pregnancy but this is more of a migraine that just won’t go. Usually water, food and paracetamol it clears but it won’t. Keep getting black floaters in vision.

im so so tired. Already napped and feel utterly exhausted.

Keep going really hot and sweaty. Thermometer is fine.

on and off nausea.

blood pressure is fine I have a home monitor. No pains just my aches all over.

I just don’t feel well at all. He is moving so he’s fine. Not as violent kicks but is moving and responds when prodded. I’ve had no symptoms of labour. Is generally feeling unwell a reason to call triage or have I caught something right before I’m supposed to be giving birth? My luck

I’d call triage just to be on the safe side, I know you’ve checked your blood pressure but they’d want to rule anything more sinister out like Pre Eclampsia or an infection.

A headache you can't shift with painkillers would have me ringing the antenatal assessment centre.

Always worth having a check!

Agree with pp. Get checked out.

They want me to go in so on way! I wasn’t sure if I was being over the top or something! Thank you

Yes call with the head ack and vision change you need to be checked for pre eclampsia

Snowtimex7 · 07/08/2024 19:33

Been checked for pre eclampsia all good. No high blood pressure. No protein in urine. Just a headache! Listened to little guy and he’s ok. Glad I went anyway
