Hiya

Just wondered if there was a brand people recommend for someone who's 8DPO I have bought the testing strips but seeing reviews of they don't work so if the early clear blue good I'm not sure? What do people recommend for those of you who have tested early thanks

Thanks

I really would not recommend those Clear Blue ones OP. They are horrendous for evap lines which can look like a positive result. With my daughter I used First Response or the Clear Blue early digital x

Honestly brand doesn’t really matter. I had a bunch of cheap strips from eBay and it picked up I was pregnant before my period was even due. Confirmed 2 days later for my starting period day with a clear blue digital and instantly said I was pregnant. Get the cheap ones, confirm with clear blue.

Supermarket own are fine. The chemicals to detect Hcg (?) are the same, it's the packaging and branding your paying for.

ClearBlue do an early digital test, that was the test I got my first ever positive on last year with my baby, google “ClearBlue Early Digital”. They have 2 types, the early one is pregnant/not pregnant, the other is the one which indicates weeks.

I did also use HCG strips yeah x

yeah ive seen posts where people have tracked there line progression and at 8DPO there was a faint line sometimes nothing and as theyve got to 10-13DPO the line is getting more visable so im gonna try keep doing them for couple days

I used One Step strips through early pregnancy and found them great. I kept to the same brand to ensure lines were darkening.
I tested early on both pregnancies, at 5dp5dt (I think that’s equivalent to 10dpo as I had an IVF pregnancy) it showed a very faint positive but was clear enough to see.
I only used the Clearblue once I was after the 14/15 days x
