Positive test but have a coil in

I took a clear blue early detection. I know they're notorious for evap lines but I've been feeling... off lately. And I had a very vivid dream about being pregnant so I took a test. The line showed up within 5 minutes but it looks evap I think. I'm not sure. It's very faint.
I've had my coil in for 3 years now. Haven't had a period for 2 and a half years. My ex had a vasectomy so if it wasn't working right I wouldn't have fallen pregnant anyways. But I've been with my new bf for 3 months now and obviously we are at it like rabbits and he has fully working sperm. We both had STD checks before we stopped using condoms so we haven't used them for most of the relationship. Surely I can't be pregnant though? We're doing tests together tonight and in a few days too to be sure but I've been crampy and so tired for a few days and lots of discharge. I've had 2 kids so I know the signs but I don't think this is real.
Anyways, tell me honestly. Evap? Can they appear within the 5 min window? It's so faint I think I'm going mad but it has colour to it too. Eurgh.

Its possible, but unlikely. I'd wait a few days then retest with your first wee of the day.

I wouldn’t say that’s positive OP, take another in a couple of days with first morning wee. That said though the coil isn’t 100%, it’s close but not 100%, my friend fell pregnant with her second baby while she had the coil. It’s just one of those things, someone is the unlucky (or lucky depending on your view) who is the 1 in 100 it doesn’t work for x

If you've got a positive line that showed up within the time, I'd consider it a positive test.

Don't take more tonight, though, you need first morning urine.

Yeah, these tests were with my first wee of the day. It's my boyfriend who thinks we should take one tonight, I'll tell him we should wait a few days. I feel calm cause I just don't think I am, my faith in the coil has never wavered till now soooo. Idk

I've booked in to have my coil checked out today, so hopefully will have some answers soon :)

See the gp about it, I had an ectopic pregnancy with my coil in. If it is that then you want it sorted sooner rather than later!

That doesn't look positive to me either, but I once had a coil completely fall out and the only reason I knew is because it was on the tissue when I wiped after a wee otherwise I might not have known.

That test looks negative to me. I can't see any line. However it is possible to get pregnant with a coil in. It happened to my sister and because she had a coil in she didn't realise she was pregnant for almost 5 months. Baby was born with the coil wrapped around the afterbirth. She was told it must have moved out of place.

I mean, pictures don't show it well. But it's not negative, I wouldn't post unless I saw something. Anyways I'm getting it sorted :)
