Pregnancy diarrhoea

Hello

So I am nearly 19 weeks pregnant and for the last week I have been getting on and off diarrhoea SORRY TMI

Has anyone else got this . Struggled to go to the toilet then been normal then just get diarrhoea.

I suffer with IBS generally but I have managed to get this under control .

It's like I have finally stopped being sick now and then this starts up .

I am a bit of a stress head so that probably doesn't help in general.

Any advice as feeling very alone with this ..

I'm normally on the edge of constipation because of meds but I have now moved to normal stools. I'm 10 weeks and it's been like this since finding out. I'm not sure if it change in diet. I had a bit of diarrhoea when I was pregnant with my daughter due to suddenly drinking a lot of decaf products and I read that they can give loose stools. Soon after I developed nausea and vomiting so reduced consumption and it went.
It might be worth thinking about how your diet has changed since you have stopped being sick and it wouldn't hurt to mention it your GP/midwife.

Yes girl!! Not all the time but I've had a couple of bouts of it around when I've vomited. I actually asked my midwife about it, after I had thrown up two days in a row (but managed to eat dinner, dry snacks and a full lunch in between) I had some diarrhea going at least 4 times during the night. She said it was completely normal! Poor us.

I posted about it in another forum and also heard it can be a less-mentioned symptom and to be grateful it's not constipation.
