Clearblue faint positive or evaporation line?

As the title suggests...

Was feeling somehow off and under the weather after having unprotected sex this month, so bought a pack of clearblue on Thursday night and got this result within 5 mins.

Thought it was a faint positive, but after a quick google I wished I'd bought a different brand as clearblue seemingly notorious for false positives!

Judging by the smudginess its prob more likely to be an evap line, but what does everyone think? Opinions please! Think I'm roughly 9-14dpo now so 7-12dpo when I did this test. If positive, would be an unplanned but welcome 3rd baby.

Will do the other test in the morning, but curious to hear people's thoughts / similar experiences!

Thanks all xx

Looks pretty positive to me. Congratulations @OldMaidenTypeShoes

I agree with pp, this looks like an early positive.

Is that just shadowing from the pic or a second line on test? If there’s 2 lines I’d consider it a faulty test but if that’s just a shadow then likely early positive

I took 3 in a row that looked like this and I was pregnant

I'd say most likely a positive.

I had one like this and it was positive. I would take a pink dye test just in case though as I’ve heard of people having horrific evap lines with these.

@OldMaidenTypeShoes I would say that’s positive as you read it at 5 mins. Most of the evaporated lines I’ve had show up 30-60mins later. Congratulations 🥳

Thank you for your messages everyone! 😊

I took the other CB test this morning and got another faint line! Have attached a pic. Took a few mins to show again (less than 5 still), but I feel like it looks slightly stronger this time?!

I can't quite trust clearblue 100% from what I've seen online though, so will be getting a pink dye test to confirm this week if AF doesn't show.

All a bit unexpected but trying not to get too excited! I do feel slightly nauseous now and then, but I think after testing etc I'm prob just imagining it. When I had my other two DC's I never vomited once, so will see how things go! Xx
