Baby measuring the same one week apart? 13 weeks

Wonder if anyone can offer advice. I had a 12 week scan and baby measuring 13 weeks (has been measuring 3-4 days bigger at every scan, we’ve had a few because I’m very anxious following a stillbirth last year).

Went for a scan at 12 weeks 6 because of cramping (which subsided, I think it was because I overdid some exercise) and everything looked ok, baby moving etc, but measured 13 weeks again.

i’m obviously panicking because of no growth. But hoping scans are sometimes inaccurate and all is ok? Can anyone put my mind at ease.

thanks

What did they say about the baby measuring the same? Did they have any concerns?
this isn’t the same but with my first my midwife sent me for a growth scan around 39w because she had calculated that my son hadn’t grown in the 12 days since I’d seen her last. I had the scan & they said I had to be induced within 24hrs. I laboured for 3 days and when he was born they confirmed he had grown and they got the measurements wrong. I’m a bit cautious of measurement. Could you ask for another scan & see what the midwife thinks? Best to get reassurance from them rather than worrying. Good luck hunny xx

I have growth scans and they told me they have to be at least 2 weeks apart to get measurements

thanks - I think I’m overreacting, the 12 week scan was 12w1d and the 13 week one was actually 12w6d, so really only 5 days apart…

At 12 weeks the baby is tiny. 5-6cm in length. The sonographers measuring even 1 or 2mm out can make a difference, especially if the baby was in a different position or active. I had two scans in the second trimester a day apart and the measurements were different.

At 12 weeks I wouldn't be worried.

You have answered your own quieation there op. 5 days is nothing. They can only compare measures every 2 weeks. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy
