3+ on ClearBlue - too early?

I’ve been having faint positive tests since 8/9dpo and today at 17dpo I’ve taken a clear blue digital test which gave a reading of 3+ weeks. I’m concerned that this is too early and my HCG levels are too high! Has anyone else had 3+ this early?

Just to add - I know it’s usually considered a positive thing to reach 3+ and have high HCG levels, however my last pregnancy was a molar pregnancy and I had extremely elevated HCG levels which is why I’m even giving this a second thought!

Maybe give your EPAU a call and explain the situation as they might want to see you. Will you have extra monitoring anyway considering your last pregnancy was molar? I did a test at 18dpo that said 2-3 weeks still.

Yes, I’ve been told I’ll get reassurance scans with the EPU at 7 and 10 weeks. I think I may give them a call and just explain. I know the chances are low to have another molar but it’s still a worry at the back of my mind.

Yes if it was me that's what I would do. It's always better to call and them say it's fine than not call and it not be fine (although I'm sure it is!)

I really hate those weeks indicator tests. They cause so much anxiety! I have heard the threshold to get a 3+ is not super high (can't remember the exact figure), so can happen within the normal ranges of early pregnancy HCG. It must be terrifying with a history of Molar though. Definitely ring the EPAU and explain, fingers crossed they can reassure you promptly.

I recently got a 3+ at what I think was 18dpo! It was saying 1-2 weeks when I tested 5 days earlier. I think the reference ranges are quite broad so I’m trying not to worry too much about it, but have booked a private scan at about 8 weeks.
