Hi all - am currently 28 weeks pregnant and for the last 2 weeks have had really bad rib pain on my right hand side when sitting - is better when I stand up and goes away completely when I lie down but is excruciating if I sit for more than 5 minutes. It feels like I’ve got a big old knot under my ribs and everything feels horribly tight and compressed, and sometimes radiates to the same spot on my back. I’ve tried yoga, stretching, paracetamol, and nothing is really helping - pressing down on the area helps somewhat but now my ribs just feel really bruised and sore. I’m not sure if it’s muscular or baby’s position or what but if anyone has any tips or has had something similar would be much appreciated - it’s driving me nuts !
