Hello all,

We're going to see Wicked in theatre and we have second row. I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with twins and the theatre has said the loudness does go up to 90 decibels and it's a very loud show. Will it be OK to go to it or would it be too loud for babies?

Thanks everyone! 🙂

No its fine, enjoy your show.
Risks associated with loud noise during pregnancy are related to consistent and repeated exposure to high noise levels, usually when the noise is part of someones daily job.
Going to a show with occasional high noise levels will be fine.

It'll be fine, don't forget babies are surrounded by loads of fluid, so it'll be like they are enjoying the music underwater!

Think about how much you can hear when your plunge your head in the bath or swimming pool. Your babies will be fine.
