Spotting at 20 weeks

Hi

Im 20 weeks pregnant and just went the toilet and when I wiped there was a little bit of blood on the tissue (picture attached) It’s my first pregnancy so just a little concerned. I was told in hospital previously a little bit of spotting is normal but just a little concerned is this normal?

I would call midwife for a chat - are you able to do that?

I think as you're 20 weeks your midwife or hospital would be wanting to see you just to be absolutely sure everything's okay :) Do you have a number for the antenatal unit at your hospital? It's usually a 24 hour number, I'd give them a call and they can advise you x
