Has anyone had more than 2 c sections?

I'm due my second baby in October and I am due an appointment with a specialist in a few weeks on birthing choices. My son was born in 2020 via c section at 34 weeks as I had preeclampsia. No problems with recovery and I had a good experience. I had a late miscarriage last year at 20 weeks and had to deliver vaginally. It took 3 days as i couldn't be given much medication to induce due to previous c section. I then got an infection, placenta stuck which needed removing via ga. All in all a horrible experience! I'm 99% sure I'm going to request a c section this time due to past trauma. My midwife thinks it will be agreed and is understandable due to what happened last year. I'm not sure if we will have a third child, but if we do I know that would be a c section if I have a second one this year. Has anyone had more than 2? I will ask my consultant about it but interested to know others experiences!

Hey OP. My SIL had all 3 of her boys via c section

I had 3. 2 emergency C sections and one elective as the consultant said to me to please not even try to have a vaginal birth. Two of the sections are along the same line and the third 2cm above.

Can I just say you are one amazing woman because I had a c section nearly 3 weeks ago and to say I’m struggling is an understatement 😫

Whether your midwife thinks it will be agreed or not is immaterial! You have the right to the birth you want.

I have had 3. First elective. Second planned elective due to breech but emergency due to PROM. Third planned elective as had 2 previous CS but was emergency as transverse & premature 🤦🏻‍♀️

All fine. Infection with my second CS

Have awful CS overhang from so much scarring 😞

I've had 4 and knew someone that had had 5. I was told to stop at 4 though as my womb was so thin.

My BFF had 4 C-sections due to health issues. Was tols 4th no more as scar tissue not good internally and unsafe.
Her recovery was ok but she had difficult pregnancies.

My first was failed induction and emergency c section. My second and third both planned sections. I didn't have any problems with recovery with any of them. Scarring is quite neat though I do have a small overhang.

I've had three, albeit in a time frame of 15 years so lots of time to recover. At my 3rd the consultant suggested I have my tubes tied because the scarring inside was quite extensive and I was 41.
All 3 seem to have been done on the same line though and all quite neat.

The midwife thinking it will be agreed is a pointless comment ( from her ) it's a maternal right if you want a section you'll have one.
I had 2 EMC and am booked for elective in a couple month but I am hoping to spontaneously go into labour prior
Although it's highly unlikely
