Clear blue positive OPK but one step negative?

It’s my first time ttc so I thought I’d use opk’s to get the timing right.
i had 6 days of flashing faces on the purple clear blue test, and negative one step tests (line wasn’t really even getting darker) I then had my static smiley on the morning of the 7th day (yay!) but the one step tests were still negative, as were Tesco own tests too. I tested 5hrs later with another one step and it was still negative.
Ive continued to take the cheap tests and it’s still negative

also, on the day I got my static my CM was creamy and white. Not raw egg white atall! The day before it was slightly slippery, and now it’s gone to sticky

we didn’t managed to DTD on the day of or day after the static face, as my husband was way. But we did do it the two days before.

just looking for some reassurance! Really want to get a BFP but the CM really worries me that I won’t. I’ve never taken opk’s before but I always seem to have this creamy like discharge around the time I would expect to be O
