Big Hi everyone!

I’m in this journey getting a bit frustrated. I think I mastered pin point my Ovulation thanks to CB Ovu kit.
Prior static face and after I had plenty of fun time so there was a fresh batch of mini daddies ready to catch the egg.

4days before period (5days before missing period) I have had a big fat “Not Pregnant” and also negative with One Step.

Boobs are less sore and tender than a few days ago & I even started to feel funny in my lower abdomen.
I am defleated… the wait is very exhausting.
Going on holidays tomorrow and taking tests with me but I lost hope this month again.

I just need a bit of support from people that are in the same situation or have gone through it.
I am not telling my family I do not want more pressure so it feels lonely.
My partner is supportive but nothing like womenhood…

Big hug!

this is your first month of trying?

Journey8 · 30/07/2024 15:35

Nope, It is the 4th. Although it’s the first with CB ovulation kit.
I thought it would be more straightforward…

'Fresh batch of mini daddies'? Shock

It's very normal for conception to take a year a more. You need to stop getting so worked up every month as the stress will take its toll and theres really nothing to worry about after only 4 cycles. My advice as someone who had a difficult fertility journey with my second is to plan things as normal, aside from big life decisions it's best to carry on life as usual and avoid getting obsessed with ttc.

In my experience, symptoms of pregnancy vs period are identical and analysing them would drive you mad. The best thing you can do is wait a couple more days and test again. I would use pink line tests rather than digital. The wait is hard indeed. Good luck!

you meant “sperm”

Journey8 · 30/07/2024 15:50

@Chasingbaby2 sorry to hear that. At what point is advisable talking to a doctor. I am 35 and yes perhaps the age clock is what subconsciously stresses me out.

@persistentyes of course my dear, wasn’t sure how transparent I should be here.

@contentsmayb you right, that’s what I have read all over.
I will test next when mi period is due and forget about early detention tests.. I’ve seen so many good reviews on these tests and people so successful that I thought I was going to be one of them

you thought that maybe you’d be told off or cause offence for using the word “sperm” ?

I don't think a GP will consider it worth investigating unless you have been ttc for a full year, even aged 35. If funds allowed, you could access testing privately sooner of course. But again there is nothing of concern after 4 cycles.
