Talk to a fertility doctor but don't expect a lot.

Have you been trying naturally? It can happen over 45.

You could speak to a fertility clinic but do consider the low success rate of IVF at your age, before you spend a lot of money

Don't!

Leanmeansmitingmachine · 30/07/2024 07:26

How old are your other children?

You can talk to a fertility clinic but be realistic about the chances of success and how much it would cost and likely not work.

@newtothis15 it's very common just pre-menopause to get a hankering for a last baby. Nature's way of wringing a bit more reproductive use out of you.
Unfortunately what fertility clinics want is not your reproductive capacity so much as your money.
Do you know why you are wanting another baby at this age? New relationship? Nostalgia? Existing kids like the idea? It's always a good plan to apply some rationality alongside the emotion.

Maybe don't?
