Hi, I am 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant has any else experienced just feeling extremely rough on weekends and most of the time in the week feeling ok, just a little tired. I don't know if its because I work all week so not really paying attention to it but weekends are bad im honestly uncontrollably being sick and sleeping the majority of the day!

I am 9 weeks and 3 days today! I have to say that I don't have that nausea that makes me vomit, but I do feel more sick, tired and with less appetite in the weekend. I think it's because my body is allowed to rest while during the week, it needs to stay 'up' for work and other responsabilities. I do read that hormones that cause the sickness and tiredness are at a peak around 9 weeks, so I hope you feel better soon! What is your due date? Mine is Feb 28th!

@Ginny2018 thanks for your response, I just feel more tired in the week really in bed by 7/8pm latest haha and can only stomach food that isn't cooked in the house! (which is costing my partner a fortune lol) weekends are generally horrendous and dread them coming, yesterday I was being sick all day from the moment I woke up until around 5pm at night, couldn't eat or drink anything. Aww not too far apart I am due on the 1st March x

Yes I feel like this, I'm also 9 weeks. I think it is because I have the distraction of work and routine during the week so I just have to get on with it no matter how I'm feeling. At the weekend I am exhausted from the week - tiredness has a big impact on how I feel. At the weekend I lack any motivation to do anything other that rot on the couch 🤣

Omg this is me, but my bed lol. I literally didn't leave my bed all day yesterday apart from when my partner ran me a bath and he just sat on the toilet seat and was like 'babe you look really sad' I was like 'you don't understand how hard this is' hahahaha at this rate I dont know how i still have a partner

I had morning sickness from 8 weeks onwards. I was rough most days. Some days I was sick multiple times, struggling to keep water, and food down. I had to eat little and often, plain foods such as dry crackers, plain biscuits, plain ham sandwiches, plain jacket potato, plain chips with a bit of salt, etc. I was also very tired. It would get to about 3pm, and I’d have no energy left. I did end up getting medication from the doctor, for the nausea/vomiting as I lost some weight and it was concerning me.

The nausea and vomiting lasted until about 14 weeks/16 weeks. Even now at 25 weeks, I have the odd bit of nausea, and have thrown up on the odd occasion. I find my nausea gets a lot worse when I’m hungry though.

@kgolding same with my husband! He is incredibly sympathetic to my plight but still doesn't really understand how I just feel like a potato and don't even have the energy to get up.

@Negangirlxx oh you poor thing, you've had an awful time of it 😕 glad you're feeling a bit better now. I was very like that with DD - incredibly sick until 14/16 weeks and had to take 2 weeks off work, could only eat very plain food. I'm not as sick this time thank god, but still quite nauseous.

Unless you've been through it, no one will ever understand the misery of the first trimester.

Absolutely.
First trimester is absolute hell.
Mind you, it’s funny how the old wives tales about girls making you sick are true! (We find out we’re having a girl, and I was like “ahhhh it all makes sense now”!)

The only annoyance I have with the second trimester is the constant need to pee, then when you do, it’s literally a dribble! 😫

@Negangirlxx oh so exciting you're having a girl 💕💕💕 yeah I'm convinced this must be a boy cos I'm not half as sick as I was with DD 🤢🤢 not sure yet if we're going to find out or leave it a surprise....we didn't find out with DD!!

Oh the peeing, I don't miss that 🤣 especially in the middle of the night when you're like a whale and it takes you ages to get up, only for a trickle to come out!! I'd still take it all over the first trimester!!

Yeah, I have accepted there is no graceful way for me to get in and out of bed these days.

It’s even worse when you’re just chilling, and baby decides to just jump up and down like a mad woman right on your bladder, and you just think “I am definitely gonna pee myself”. 😂
