"Morning" sickness

I am coming up to 12 weeks pregnant with my second child and I feel awful. All day, constant nausea, some vomiting, horrid over sensitive sense of smell and I'm beyond exhausted. I have a 2 year old, and whilst I wasn't quite this bad with him, my nausea lasted the entire pregnancy. I am so worried I'll feel this way for my entire pregnancy again. This is so much worse than the last time, and this time round I've got a toddler to be chasing round after I don't know how I am going to cope. I've been given anti sickness tablets off the GP but to be honest they make me even more tired than I already am it isn't worth taking them. They said what they've given me is the safest option so I'm worried to try anything else in case it comes with risk. I've tried all the usual ginger biscuits blah blah and nothing is helping and I could honestly just curl up and cry. I probably sound over dramatic and I'm aware I'm very hormonal. I can keep food and fluid down so I don't think the GP will be keen to do anything else for me. I was just wondering did anyone else have "morning" sickness for the whole of their first pregnancy, then have it go away at the end of the first trimester for subsequent pregnancies? Thanks
