Hi I’m just looking for advice - I went for my 12 week scan last week and also had the screening tests. I received a call yesterday from the midwife saying my results from the DS test had come back as high risk and said baby had a 1 in 40 chance.

Im 26 years old with a low BMI of 19, I have never smoked and would class myself quite healthy. The NT results came back as 3.2 which the midwife said was classed as normal however, my bloods came back:
hCG - 1.7
PAPP-A - 0.47

I had the NIPT test straight away and now just waiting for the results next Thursday, me and my partner are both anxious waiting for the results.

There's a 39 in 40 chance it's not the case, try not to spiral untill you know for sure 🩷

although I can truly empathise 🩷

I know people who have had 1 in 5 chance for DS, continued with pregnancy and baby born without DS. Their tests aren't 100% accurate so I would urge caution when making decisions based off probability
