Slow line progression, now PUL

Hello,

I am doing this in a way to pay it forward given how much i scoured the Internet looking at line progressions etc and outcomes.

I got a late BFP maybe 12 or 14dpo and it was incredibly faint. The line progression took a while to get going but after a MMC last year I was anxious and after some pain got a GP appointment who said to get an early scan for reassurance but she didn't think it was ectopic.

I follow up with the referral to the EPU and the next day I start spotting, which leads to a scan at what would be 5.5- 6 weeks which shows thickened lining but empty uterus so a pregnancy of unknown location.

Hcg shows 1200 and 48 hours later it was 1100 so I know its not worked out.

I have a scan with the consultant tomorrow morning to double check again its not ectopic but just had promised myself I would post this online given how much I obsessed over it.

I have a feeling I implanted late, which I know has limited chance of sucess but just hoping it isnt ectopic and my hcg lowers quickly!

Your test pictures look similar to my 2nd pregnancy. My first one had a good BFP at 9dpo and great line progression followed. My second was negative at 9dpo and then positive at 10dpo however progression was slooooow and took ages to get going. I was so worried about it. Both pregnancies ended in miscarriage (1st at 7 weeks, 2nd at 8 weeks) so no rhyme or reason for it for me anyway.

@CadoAvo thank you, its so strange the line progressions aren't they? Part of me is glad I did them as I half prepared myself for it not working out. Just waiting for my scan now and part of me wonders if a miracle baby is still in there as I have stopped bleeding.

As an update, the scan didnt show any obvious ectopic and my lining had halved.

However my HCG is somehow higher than before so who knows what is happening.

Just wanted to update this as my third scan this morning showed it as unfortunately a tubal ectopic so waiting on more bloods to see if i need methotrexate or expectant management.
