When does the nausea stop? (Light-hearted...kind of!)

That's it! I have had just about enough 😂 😭 8+4 and I know I have had it way luckier than some.

I've only physically been sick once, have come very close (eg. dry heaves) a bunch more times but oh my gosh the nausea. I actually prefer the times I've almost thrown up or actually did (yesterday). I'm also on holiday right now which we have done our best to make the most of despite the ridiculous nausea and food aversions.

DH has been setting a timer every 2 hours so I can eat something small like a cracker or banana to try and put off the nausea (works some of the time), and I'm off a lot of food. I'm also being more careful with what I consume being abroad and obv with what's allowed in pregnancy anyway. Food feels stressful atm like something I really don't want but have to make sure I eat something regularly or I'll feel like death! Is this practice for having a baby on a schedule/picky toddler 😂

DH has been great as usual though we had a moment yesterday after I asked him to go get me a coke after I'd been sick and when he brought it he suggested I find a new nausea drink because of the caffeine in it 😩💀 that was swiftly shut down!

Anyway I was hoping for 12w to be the magical end to all things nausea but have seen online it can keep going well into the second trimester 😭 tell me that's not true??? How do people do this I swear.

I remember it lasting until about 19 weeks with my first. I didn't have morning sickness, but neverending sickness 🤢 Constant nausea and could barely eat a thing. Went off two of our staple dinners and honestly I still can't eat them nearly 4 years later!

Second pregnancy has had zero nausea, so it might not happen again if you have another one!

Zero nausea the second time?? Wow that is actually good to hear, I was telling DH I'd like to grow the next one in a test tube! I've added upset stomach to the party as of last night as well so very tired stomach/abs. Apparently that can be a part of morning sickness joy?

I'm 12 weeks and struggling HARD I've got hyperemesis - it's my 3rd pregnancy and usually goes around 20 weeks.
Not sure I've got another 2 months of this in me tbh!

😖 I really feel for you!! Is there anything you can take for it? Completely understand you not feeling like you have another 2 months in you, most people are on their knees after a short stomach bug aren't they!

The anti sickness meds make me feel like I've had 2 bottles of wine....so not conducive to work or looking after my other two kids 😂

It's just meh, roll on twenty weeks and I can find something new to moan about ha

First pregnancy 6-13 weeks, 15-16 weeks then 26-36 weeks. It kept coming back! I was on cyclizine for most of my first and third trimesters.
Second pregnancy currently 8 weeks had nausea and vomiting since 5 weeks. Picked up cyclizine yesterday

I was sick up until the day my daughter was born, my son I think it eased off around the 20 week mark.
