Any tips for hip pain

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and really starting to struggle with my left hip. It's not round ligament as this is further round to the left where I had some soft tissue damage a couple of years ago that didn't heal right because my GP didn't take me seriously that I was suffering (apparently requiring codeine to just be able to sit up in bed without screaming is no big deal).
It's getting to the point where my husband has to help me stand and take most of my weight just so I can get out of bed or go to the loo and at work I'm having to have a break every few minutes because I can't stand for long periods of time and it takes me ages to waddle over to the till if I'm needed to deal with an issue.

I will be ringing my midwife on Monday but I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks because I'm guessing this is only going to get worse as I get bigger. I am hyper mobile so I already struggle with my joints not working or being too flexible but not in a good way.

TIA

I would be careful doing any exercises before seeing a physio. As yours is due to previous injury.
You could try belly bands to help with the weight. A crutch to help getting up and down.
In terms of movement think mermaid when moving in bed. Knees together and making sure to use your upper body to push up from laying down in a side position. You may find small strides with legs close together more comfortable.

I would ask for a urgent referral asap. As you may need specialist exercises and aids.

All the best.
