Hi all, does this look like a bloody show? If so what does that mean?

Yes thats what mine looked like also. And after I had some browny discharge until i had DS 5 days later.

As your 34 weeks I would call your Hospital to let them know. They can decide if they want to mo itor you closely, have you come in or happy for you to stay at home.

Yes mine looked like that as well but more discharge. I had DD a few hours later x

@MrsL2019 oh wow I hope ur ok only just seen your reply have u called hospital u need to be checked. Stay positive and I had a baby at 34 weeks 3 pound she was fine no issues apart from sucking so had to be tube fed good luck with it all xx

@charlie19900 i rang triage and they said they wasnt worried and it can regenerate. Ive lost little bits throughout the day but not a lot. Ive just lost another big bit which was bright red, so i called them again and again they said not to worry about it! Going to see what its like tomorrow morning and call back if needed x

Thats interesting they said not to worry especially with the bloody show as that is a sign of effacement and dialatiom. Totally aware qomwm can be 1-2cm dialated for weeks before labour but given your history would assume they would want to check you maybe even monitor of your having contractions?

I would also be calling back in the morning after hand over so you speak to someone else.

@MrsL2019 it's concerning that u have already had preterm labour and there not worried yes it can be regenerated but they should still see you. How are you feeling today? Have u got a midwife you can call. It really annoyes me when hospital don't even check. Listen to your body and just go in if need be. Are u having extra scans ext ? X

Did all turn put ok op?

MrsL2019 · 31/07/2024 12:08

@MixedCouple2 the bloody show didnt really stop but they said not to worry as it will regenerate. On sunday night i had quite a bit bleed and it was confirmed my waters are leaking, so they could well have been leaking before too

Or wow really. The big bleed was from the cervix??
How are you feeling? Have they put in a plan of action. Are you on total bedrest?
