Hi all,
To cut a long story short after 5 gruelling years of failed IVF. In April after returning from holiday, We found out I was naturally pregnant, fast forward 5 days and im in hospital having emergency surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. Which actually turned out to be even rarer as it was on my ovary. Deverstated we booked an extra special, once in a lifetime holiday to Malaysia for this coming November thinking we arent meant to be parents. Lets figure out a new life path.
Last week I felt unwell and randomly decided to do a pregnancy test which glowed like a beacon, positive. Stunned I called the EPU and they got me in for a scan. Ive barely slept for fear it will be in the wrong place again.
This morning the scan confirmed it was indeed in the right place but only 5 weeks was too early to see anything else but a sac. They have asked me back in 10 days for another scan. Im not sure how I am going to survive the next 10 days. I know what the answer is going to be, but how likely is it that a heart beat will develop or is it a 50/50 chance it will progress?
Apologies if this sounds totally ridiculous but I just need something to hang on too
TIA
